Overview
Explore our programs
Preparing students for careers such as a professional artist, scholar, teacher, or administrator is our goal. Students will develop the cultural awareness, aesthetic responsiveness and contemporary perspective necessary for success. Our students transform ideas into significant forms--drawings, paintings, sculptures, films, prints, installations, and community projects. Our Department of Art also prepares students for careers in K-12 art education, where they will earn a Bachelor of Science degree in education and an initial North Dakota teaching license for grades K-12.
