An Overview of Assessment of Student Learning at VCSU

The Institutional Effectiveness and Planning office provides essential institutional data for reporting, research and decision-making. This office manages all course evaluations and surveys, including a master calendar to boost response rates and minimize survey fatigue. Data requests are handled here. The Director oversees academic assessment activities, strategic planning and chairs the Institutional Review Board.

Data dashboards created and managed by this office are published on VCSU’s public website and are accessible on various VCSU employee Teams sites, as appropriate.
